Lets critique those Slabs! We will then take a look at another artist who stacks dishes, and apply that inspiration to our unified set!

Last day to work on your slab project in class, today I will demo how to throw a plate, and later introduce the next project.

Students will finish up their slab projects, and if they finish early they may begin practicing on the wheel. I will demo how to throw a mug/cylinder today and bowls and plates Thursday. Wheel throwing will be a component to the next project.

Today I will demo the deconstruction of our template, applying texture, and cutting template pieces out. We will go over key terms from pottery 1 such as : slipping and scoring, slip, slab and leatherhard clay.
